Chennai:- “Corruption exists in the judiciary and no one can turn their back on this reality. Therefore, there is no need for anyone to consider judges as sacred as cows,” such a comment has been made by the Madras High Court.
While rejecting the demand for a ban on a Tamil film, the court recorded this important observation. The Madras High Court rejected a petition demanding a ban on the Tamil film ‘Karuppu’, which comments on corruption in lower courts.
This decision was given by the bench of Justice G.R. Swaminathan and Justice V. Lakshminarayanan.
