In Chimur taluka, illegal businesses are rampant everywhere. Therefore, the question of who pushed Chimur taluka into this web of illegal businesses is a matter of concern and contemplation, and the protection they receive is a shameful matter.
It appears that someone has deliberately taken it upon themselves to make the poor and ordinary citizens of Chimur taluka addicted to vices.
Gambling dens operating under the guise of clubs in the taluka are systematically trapping many ordinary citizens and are responsible for making them indebted.
Along with this, local villagers say that liquor is being supplied day and night to rural areas from licensed country liquor shops in Chimur taluka.
The objective of those illegally supplying liquor and those involved in the illegal liquor business, and those directly or indirectly supporting them, seems to be that young people, citizens, and students in rural areas should consume large quantities of alcohol, become heavily addicted, drink daily in their intoxication, neglect their family problems, keep their children away from education, not have enough food for their livelihood, not wear good clothes, wander aimlessly, and become destitute. Along with this, gambling operators have significantly increased their activities in Chimur taluka. As a result, these gambling operators have lured thousands of citizens into their trap in both urban and rural areas.
It is clear that citizens caught in the gambling trap are wasting their valuable time throughout the day and suffering financial losses.
The mental, physical, and financial harm caused to ordinary citizens through this illegal business is a very serious issue. Who is responsible for this?
