Yesterday, a similar unfortunate incident took place in Pimpalgaon, a village in Chimur taluka under Chandrapur district (Maharashtra state/India). A farmer working in the field was struck by lightning and died on the spot.
The farmer’s name is Dilip Gulab Shrirame and his age at the time of death is 35 years. When he did not return home even after nightfall, his relatives went to the field and searched for him, and it was found that he had died of electric shock.
The information about the incident was given to the Revenue Department Chimur and Police Station Bhisi. The concerned responsible officers and employees of the Sadar Department reached the spot and conducted an in-depth investigation of the incident.
After this, the body of Dilip Gulab Shrirame was sent to the District Sub-Hospital Chimur for autopsy.
Dilip’s natural death is causing a stir in the village.
