The society is trapped in the clutches of illegal businesses like liquor, gambling, and satta matka, and it is the responsibility of the police department to extricate the society from this trap. But since the police department’s inaction is fueling these illegal businesses, how will these illegal businesses ever be stopped? This important issue is creating even more serious concerns regarding the police department.
To put it in simple terms, “illegal businesses” are businesses that are not legal. It has to be said that these businesses, which are not legal, are operating fearlessly due to the inaction of the police.
Similarly, the public believes that the police department should legally bring to light under whose patronage these illegal businesses are operating in every nook and corner, and who is responsible for these illegal businesses.
Matka is a type of gambling. Matka gambling or satta is a form of betting and lottery. Currently, it is known as “number gambling”.
The “proliferation of illegal businesses” means illegal activities. The widespread increase in the sale of liquor, gambling, matka, and other illegal activities in society leads to an increase in crime and creates a law and order problem.
This puts pressure on the police administration, and sometimes, due to their inaction or bribery, these businesses thrive even more. As a result, the youth in society turn to addiction and are attracted to crime; such a situation is found in many places.
The nature of illegal businesses means that betting dens and gambling dens are operating in various places, and there is widespread illegal sale of country liquor, foreign liquor, and toddy. Similarly, serious crimes such as the illegal sale of other intoxicating substances and human trafficking are also included in this, because the desire among young people to get rich quickly attracts them to illegal businesses.
In some places, these businesses do not stop due to the negligence or bribery within the police administration. Illegal businesses increase the crime rate and lead to the formation of criminal gangs. Addiction and indebtedness cause many families to face difficulties.
It is necessary for the police administration to become active and take strict action against such businesses. The ill effects of illegal businesses have reached the last segments of society, and millions of citizens are heading towards destruction.
The proliferation of illegal businesses is a serious problem spreading in society, and controlling it requires the participation of citizens along with the administration.
The growth of illegal businesses is driven by the desire to earn high profits with low investment, which includes things like liquor sales, gambling, marijuana, gutkha, narcotics, and counterfeit products.
Police negligence and, in some places, political support are contributing to this, which is increasing addiction among young people and encouraging crime.
Because young people desire to get rich quickly, they are attracted to these businesses. In many places, there are discussions that the police are neglecting or protecting illegal businesses.
In some places, there are discussions that those involved in illegal businesses have the support of political leaders, due to which no action is taken.
Along with this, many young people are being drawn into these illegal activities due to unemployment. The sale of illegal liquor distilleries, counterfeit liquor, and country liquor has increased significantly. Similarly, betting, gambling, and lottery-like games are rampant. The smuggling and sale of marijuana, hashish, and other narcotics have increased. Addiction is increasing among young people, and they are becoming involved in criminal activities. This is leading to unrest in society, resulting in an increase in fights, thefts, and other crimes. Adulterated liquor and substances like toddy have created a health crisis for the citizens.
Strict action…
The government has issued orders to the police to take strict action against illegal businesses. However, since the police are allowing illegal business operators to continue their activities, these operators have become emboldened and have indirectly become allies of the police.
There is a need to determine the responsibility of officers from various departments and take action accordingly.
Illegal means something that is not legal, authorized, or proper; something that is against the rules, laws, or logic, or something that has no legal or moral basis. It is something that does not fall within the purview of the law or is prohibited by law. It is something that is not morally right or is wrong.
The public believes that since illegal businesses fall under legally inappropriate practices, the police department should control such businesses, and the strictest possible action should be taken against illegal business operators under organized crime laws.
