Kharghar :- Many social activists, Congress leaders and retired officers gathered in Kharghar on Monday to take legal action against Chief Election Commissioner Shri. Dnyanesh Kumar Gupta and other Election Commissioners in the case of alleged scams in the Lok Sabha elections.

Around 11.30 am, all of them tried to file a ‘Zero FIR’ against the Commissioner at the Kharghar Police Station.

At this time, the delegation met the police officers and submitted their detailed complaint application. (As seen in photos 1 and 3).

An attempt was made to file this application under the ‘Zero FIR’ process. However, the activists informed that it has not been registered yet.

“The fraud that has taken place in the voting under the protection of the Election Commission and the ruling party has created a serious crisis for democracy and the constitution,” the protesters expressed their anger.

  Repeal ‘that’ black law…

The main anger of the protesters is against the law passed in Parliament on December 28, 2023. “This is a poisonous, black and terribly dangerous law.

This law excluded the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court from the selection committee of the Chief Election Commissioner and other commissioners. Not only this, but these commissioners have been given ‘total immunity’ from any kind of legal action or investigation.

This provision is worse than Hitlerism,” the protesters made a serious allegation.

Claiming that transparency is not being maintained in the election process by taking advantage of this legal protection, the main demand was that this law of 28-12-2023 should be immediately repealed.

“Until this anti-democratic law is repealed and until all elections are held fairly, independently and in accordance with the principles of the Constitution, our legal fight will continue,” everyone expressed their firm determination at this time.

In this movement, A. Sudam Patil Sir (Panvel President) Vishwanath Chaudhary (President, Kharghar), Raju Rote, Deshmukh Saheb, Haresh Keni (former corporator), Shailesh Patne District President Seva Dal, Jaywant Deshmukh (City President Khanda Colony), Lagade Saheb, Ishika Sudheeja, Bharati Tai, Saira Madam, Latifbhai, Adv. Niranjani Shetty, Adv. Aqib Ansari and many other renowned lawyers, retired brothers and Congress workers participated.
