Jansamvad Panchsheel Dhwaj Yatra is underway in various districts of Maharashtra state by Bhante Vinacharya. This Yatra will arrive in Parbhani on September 12.
It is to inform all the devotees of Parbhani district that the fight for the liberation of Mahabodhi Mahavihar has been going on for many years.
This fight is going on from the streets to Delhi and the courts to achieve our rights, within our rights.
This fight started by Anagarik Dhammapal is further venerated. Venerable Suresh Sasai Nagarjuna kept it alive. After many years, this fight has started again under the leadership of Akash Lama, Venerable Vinacharya, Venerable KK Rahul, Venerable Sumit Ratna. Apparently, many political party leaders have also announced their support for this movement.
Mahabodhi Mahavihar is a sacred heritage of Buddhism and it should be given to the Buddhists in the true sense, with this sacred goal, Venerable Vinacharya is doing a foot march all over India.
Through this Dhamma Yatra, the aim is to create awareness in the society, establish the rights of Buddhists and make the history of Mahabodhi Mahavihar accessible to the public. Venerable Vinacharya’s Panchsheel Yatra will pass through the districts of Parbhani.
This Yatra in Parbhani district has special importance. Because Parbhani district has always been active socially, educationally and culturally. The Buddhist brothers of this district have always supported the movements and strengthened the work of social awareness.
Today, to make this movement more widespread and to create awareness of the values of Buddhism in the society, the Panchsheel Dhamma Dhavaj Yatra is being organized all over Maharashtra under the leadership of Venerable Vinacharya.
To intensify the Mahabodhi Mahavihar Mutti Ladha, the Panchsheel Dhamma Dhavaj Padayatra has been organized in Parbhani on 12 September 2025.
All the brothers and sisters of Parbhani district are being appealed to actively participate in this Yatra. Let us all raise our voices together and deliver the message of Dhamma, equality, justice and brotherhood to every household, the organizers of the Dhamma Dhavaj Rally have appealed.
The Dhamma Dhavaj Rally route will be from Maharana Pratap Chowk (Jail Corner) to Sujata Nagar Buddh Vihar, Parbhani.
