The practice of transferring the agricultural lands of farmers to coal mining companies and limestone mining companies without selling them is going on in Chandrapur district.

It is seen that there is a large number of rackets in Chandrapur district where agricultural lands of tribals and other farmers are being sold in the name of coal and limestone producing companies under Talathi Taptar.

The farmers who have been wronged say that they are sure that the Talathi, Mandal Officer, Talal, Company Director, Company Management and other officials are involved in the racket of selling farmers’ farmland in the name of companies.

Along with this, the Talathi, Mandal Officer, Broker, Company Director, and related company manager, without taking the farmers’ farmland through sale, changing the Talathi record of the farmers’ farmland in the name of the related company is a part of the fraud scheme and is being used in serious cases like cheating and defrauding farmers in Mauza Kunsumbi in Jiwati Taluka and Mauza Baranj Mokasa in Bhadravati Taluka under Chandrapur district.

Yet, how are the Chandrapur District Collector, the concerned Sub-Divisional Officer, the Tehsildars of Bhadravati and Jiwati silent? This serious question arises.

Similarly, why did the Chandrapur District Collector not conduct a special inquiry in relation to the concerned Talathi and Mandal Officer and others? And why was no criminal action taken against all the criminals involved? Why were the Talathi and Mandal officers not placed at home? Why was their inquiry report not sent to the Revenue Minister of Maharashtra? Many such issues are raising doubts about the Chandrapur District Collector.

For the past 42 years, Manikgarh Cement Company and now Altatech Cement Company have been illegally mining limestone on the farmland of 24 tribal farmers in Kusumbi, Mouja, Jivati Taluka, Chandrapur District, and have taken possession of the village along with the village land by fraudulently changing the land. How can the concerned Talathi, Mandal Officer, Tehsildar, Sub-Divisional Officer, Chandrapur District Collector not see this?

Along with this, the concerned officials and employees of Chandrapur district are also keeping silent about the fact that the agricultural lands of farmers in Mouja Baranj Mokasa in Bhadravati taluka, Main Karnataka Emta Company Bangalore and Main Karnataka Power Corporation Private Company Bangalore, as well as the Private Limited Companies Main Aurobindo Company Hyderabad Limited in Belora are being fraudulently converted to extract coal.

Why are the senior officials not taking action against the Talathi and Mandal officers who are fraudulently converting the agricultural lands of farmers in Mouja Kusumbi in Jivati taluka, and Mouja Baranj Mokasa and Mouja Belora in Bhadravati taluka?…

Therefore, the question arises that have all the concerned employees and officials turned deaf? Have their eyes become blind? Can they not speak? Are they abusing their power? Are they consciously ignoring it? Why are they not using their power properly? Are all of them related to the bogus alteration case?

Constitutional scholar and Talathi Vinod Khobragade is fighting a legal battle with the necessary documents for the welfare and protection of the farmers. However, it seems that the officials are not understanding this legal battle in time.

Does this mean that the officials who do not provide justice to the farmers in time have the qualities of feudalism and dictatorship?

As people’s representatives, will MP Pratibhatai Dhanorkar, MLA Kiran Devtale, MLA Devrao Bhongale make good use of their positions to provide justice to the aggrieved farmers and take strict action against those involved in bogus alteration of agricultural land? This question is also important….

Since the bogus alteration cases regarding agricultural land in Chandrapur district are serious, will Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Revenue Minister N. Chandrashekhar Bawankule pay attention to this matter? And will they provide relief to the farmers who have been wronged through justice? In this regard, the eyes of the exploited farmers of Chandrapur district have been opened.
