A bus belonging to S.T. Mahamadal of Chimur Agar in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra state overturned near Mouja Chargaon on Chimur to Warora road at around 2:45 pm. Driver Suresh Bhatkar died on the spot while driver Suraj Pusnake became unconscious.
Along with this, 10 passengers were injured and were admitted to Warora Hospital for treatment. Since the work on the Chimur to Warora National Highway is being done at a slow pace, potholes have formed on this road. These same pebbles have been the cause of accidents many times.
However, the reason for today’s accident has not been revealed…
