The large-scale supply of domestic and foreign liquor in the rural areas of Chimur taluka is alarming and is proving to be a major encouragement and boost to the illegal business of domestic and foreign liquor.

While it is necessary for the police department to be vigilant and diligent to curb the supply of domestic and foreign liquor, their neglect towards the illegal supply of domestic and foreign liquor is extremely serious and is proving instrumental in creating a criminal society…

Due to the negligence of the police department, a flood of domestic and foreign liquor is flowing in the rural areas of Chimur taluka. As a result, citizens in rural areas are falling prey to addiction in large numbers, and the attention of young people is being drawn towards alcohol addiction.

It is the job of the police department to find out from where and by whom the large-scale supply of domestic and foreign liquor is coming to the rural areas of Chimur taluka in Chandrapur district.

Along with this, the general public, both men and women, are of the opinion that the police should file cases under MCOCA against the domestic and foreign liquor shop owners, the illegal businessmen supplying domestic and foreign liquor, and the individuals involved in the illegal business of domestic and foreign liquor, who are encouraging organized crime through the illegal domestic and foreign liquor business. Similarly, the public believes that police officers should submit a report to the concerned department to revoke the licenses of those domestic and foreign liquor license holders who supply domestic and foreign liquor in rural areas.

However, the large-scale supply of domestic and foreign liquor in rural areas is a result of the police department’s negligence, and it must be said that they are failing in their duty.

While the police are responsible for protecting citizens, they are neglecting illegal businesses like the liquor trade. The men and women of Chimur taluka need to know from the police themselves what part of their duty this constitutes.

The rampant activities of domestic and foreign liquor shop license holders, illegal traders supplying domestic and foreign liquor, and individuals selling liquor in the rural areas of Chimur taluka, which have a serious impact on the minds of all sections of society, constitute organized crime. Is the police department aware of this?
