Mumbai : While the political atmosphere in the country is heated over the Epstein Files and the alleged ‘unilateral’ trade policy with America, a mega protest was held in Mumbai on Monday by the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi. This protest was held in the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus area.
During the protest, the activists raised slogans like “Modi Hatao, Desh Bachao” and expressed strong protest against the policies of the central government. This protest was led by Adv. Prakash Ambedkar, National President of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi. Also, many social organizations including Matang Mukti Sena supported this protest.
The protest demanded a transparent inquiry, claiming that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s name was allegedly mentioned in the Epstein files. The protesters also alleged that the country’s economic interests were being harmed by the ongoing trade deal with the US. They demanded that the central government should announce a clear stand on these issues.
Addressing the protest, Adv. Prakash Ambedkar criticized the RSS-Israel relations, foreign policy and agreements with the US. “India is again moving towards slavery. The trade deal with the US is against the country’s interests,” he said. Ambedkar also demanded that the Prime Minister clarify the Epstein case.
Adv. Prakash Ambedkar also expressed concern about the safety of Indian citizens working in the Gulf countries. He said that more than two crore Indians are working in the Gulf countries, and if international tensions increase, their safety may be a problem.

Adv. Prakash Ambedkar also appealed that the government should focus on the basic issues of the people by raising the issue of the population below the poverty line in the country.
A large police force was deployed in the CSMT area during this protest. A large number of activists from Mumbai and the suburbs participated in this protest. The activists raised strong slogans and left the area in a state of shock.
A large number of office bearers, activists, key office bearers of various organizations and citizens, including Rekha Thakur, Shapriyadarshi Telang, Utkarsha Rupavate, Disha Pinki Sheikh, Sujat Ambedkar, Chetan Ahire, Snehal Sohni, Sagar Gavai, Rajendra Patode, Nilesh Vishwakarma, Ashok Sable, Col. Milind Ranade, Atik Dafedar, Avinash Bhosikar, Sachin Gaikwad, participated in this protest.
