Power is not an end, but a means — it is not a means to accumulate wealth and prosperity or a means of prestige, but a means to change circumstances, to bring transformation, to create material prosperity.
But nowadays, the equation seems to be — wealth for prestige, and power for the protection of that wealth.
Prestige is born from ego. This means that at the root is ego, from ego comes prestige, for prestige comes wealth and property, and for property comes power — such a chain is formed, or such an order follows, and in this pursuit, a person is even ready to become a slave of power. The pleasure of slavery gives him happiness.
Those who do not understand what slavery means, and what sovereignty and freedom mean — who cannot see the difference between a parrot living happily in a cage eating and drinking, and a parrot soaring freely in the open sky — they must be called ignorant.
No matter how educated they are or how wealthy they are, in the end they remain fools and ignorant — those who parade around as slaves of power.
Even after enduring the stings of the untouchability of poverty, casteism, and religious fanaticism, they do not feel the urge to bring change in it — because they are slaves of power.
A slave has no opinion of his own. They have a master, and all they know is to consider the master’s word as supreme. Their faith in the master is firm. Rather, they are blind devotees, blindly superstitious.
Although it is true that a slave does not rise in rebellion without being made aware of his slavery — the slaves who are not merely slaves of power but are slaves enjoying power, meaning the servants and workers of power, are aware that they are slaves, yet they find contentment in serving power.

They have no honor and no mind — they do not know what self-respect, dignity, and status mean. These people are of such a low level.
Slaves of power — meaning ministers and sentries, MLAs and MPs who are greedy for power — are not willing to give up power when the time comes, and remain slaves of power so that their wealth is not harmed and they do not have to endure jail.
These servants of the master of power — expecting transformation from them is wrong. Such servants remain slaves themselves and also keep the public in slavery. Because they have nothing to do with sovereignty, self-respect, self-reliance, status, dignity, and freedom.
These people are willing to live the life of a prostitute. Only for material pleasures. They need neither honor nor status. These are people who eat leftovers for the sake of ghee and lick butter off a corpse’s skull — they are traitors and of the lowest level.
They have neither party loyalty, nor ideological dedication, nor national loyalty, nor transformation, nor revolution. They do not fit into any of these. Because they are slaves of the master of power.
The master enslaves power, and power also enslaves public representatives — the reason being that it has still not been understood by them that power is not an end but a means of transformation or a means of development, or even if they understand, they are not willing to give up their servitude and subjugation.
