Demanding reservation on economic grounds means moving to deny the governmental and administrative representation and fundamental rights of OBC, SC, ST, society. In other words, demanding such reservation means working for the interests of the upper castes. It should be kept in mind that while caste and communalism and exploitation, oppression, injustice under it persist in India, presenting a wrong concept about reservation means consciously atrocities and injustice against OBC, SC, ST society…

Reservation is a special opportunity given to a socially or economically weaker community to get representation in education, jobs and government schemes.

Along with this, to lead the country, one must become an MP and to lead the state, one must become an MLA. Similarly, to be an officer and employee under representation in government offices…

Have those who are rich, millionaires, industrialists, and wealthy politicians in India stopped becoming MPs and MLAs? And have they refused to become government officers and employees? Similarly, have they stopped practicing caste discrimination, injustice, atrocities, and exploitation under the guise of religion? Those who oppose reservation should first answer this..

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar gave reservation to raise the social and economic level of the backward community and to give them an opportunity to be represented equally in the government and government offices!..

Therefore, MPs, MLAs, officers, and employees should adopt the working method intended for democracy within the framework of the Constitution and accordingly, they should fulfill their duty diligently to bring social and economic equality to the backward classes within the country and to eliminate caste discrimination in the country.

In this situation, ministers, MPs and MLAs are still not seen performing their duties as expected according to democracy, but rather performing their duties based on caste and religion. What can we say about this?

Reservation is an important pillar for the advancement of OBC, SC, ST, and Scheduled Caste citizens and their participation in government services and participation in the government.

“To deny this core, dishonest leaders and dishonest people openly oppose reservation and demand reservation on economic grounds. Due to this, their fraudulent activities are continuously affecting the development and progress of the ignorant citizens of the country.

At the same time, the ulterior motive of those opposing reservation is that OBC, SC, ST, and minority citizens of this country should not be equal partners in power and government service!…

In India, Mahatma Jyotirao Phule introduced the concept of reservation, after which reservation was implemented according to the recommendations of various commissions and due to constitutional amendments.

Currently, 50 percent reservation is given under the center and 52% in Maharashtra, in which seats are reserved for Other Backward Classes (OBC), SC, ST, and women.

The historical background of reservation…

dates back to the 16th century. The concept of reservation was first introduced in the 16th century by the Justice Party, which started reservation through a government order.

Mahatma Jyotirao Phule in 1882 During the establishment of the Hunter Commission in 1992, there was a demand for reservation in education and British government jobs for all. After this, Chhatrapati Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj emphasized on reservation during his reign and took direct action to uplift the deprived, exploited, and socially and economically empowered society according to reservation.

The Mandal Commission recommended reservation for other backward classes in India.

A total of 52% reservation is given to backward classes in educational institutions and government jobs in Maharashtra. This includes Other Backward Classes (OBC), Nomadic-Vimukt Castes (DT/VJ), Special Backward Classes (SBC) and Scheduled Castes-Tribes (SC/ST).

According to the 73rd Constitutional Amendment Act of 1992, 33% reservation was given to women in Panchayat Raj institutions, which was later increased to 50% in some states.

The main objective of reservation is to provide equal opportunities in society to the backward classes due to social inequality. Empowering the disadvantaged classes by getting education and job opportunities through reservation is also an important objective.

It should be primarily noted that reservation policies are an attempt to bring the disadvantaged sections of society into the mainstream.

Therefore, it is generally seen that those who oppose reservation and demand reservation on the basis of economic status are the enemies of the Bahujan Samaj sections of this country, i.e. OBCs, SCs, STs, minority citizens, women, unemployed people, laborers, students, students, and young women…
