A symposium on the book ‘Pariprekshya’ by Prof. Yadav Gaikwad is being held today, 19 August 2025, at Lal Bahadur Shastri College, Dharmabad. This book has been published by Sakal Prakashan.Pariprekshya is an ideological book.Pariprekshya means a specific approach to looking at something, a problem, a specific method of thinking, interpreting.
In the said book by Prof. Yadav Gaikwad, the nature of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s approach to creating a new nation of India is presented in a medical and easy-to-understand manner.
Of course, this book does not present Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s overall role in the creation of the new nation, but rather it presents Dr. Babasaheb’s role in some important aspects of the creation of the new nation and his contribution to those aspects. The Round Table Conferences held by the British during 1930-31 and the discussions held with representatives of different groups in India in these conferences were very important in the formation of the future of India.
The ideological presentation and demands made by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar as a representative of the untouchables in India in the Round Table Conferences were very important in the formation of the future constitution of India.
There was a difference between the view of Mahatma Gandhi, the supreme leader of the Congress during this period, towards the untouchables and Babasaheb’s view. The caste system of Hindus in India has made millions of people here untouchables and has denied their humanity. Although untouchability is a part of Hinduism, Hinduism does not give them any place. The Hindu religion system said that the four castes in the caste system were created through the four limbs of Brahma. It said that the Shudra caste was born from the feet.
But Babasaheb argues that the caste system here does not even give the untouchables a place of feet, but rather gives them a place like a pair of legs.
This book provides a detailed account of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s relationship with Marathwada. At the same time, it provides a simple account of the roles taken by Babasaheb in the context of linguistic regionalization.
This book effectively presents the ideological role taken by Babasaheb Ambedkar in the context of creating a new nation of India. This book provides useful guidance in the direction in which the people of the country should move in the future. Therefore, this book should be read.
