OBC brothers will also get a chance in the recruitment process of the Supreme Court of the country. The decision taken by the Chief Justice of the country, Hon. B.R. Gavai, is welcome in terms of social justice, said Hemant Patil, National President of India Against Corruption, OBC leader, on Wednesday (9th) thanking him.
Till now, there was a reservation system only for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in the Supreme Court’s staff recruitment process. No clear provision was made regarding OBCs.
Notably, this reservation system will be based on post. Patil expressed the opinion that the decision taken by Hon’ble Patil expressed confidence that now the path of reservation will be paved for the remaining classes as well.
