In the courtroom of the current Additional District and Sessions Judge Chandrapur, some lawyers had threatened to kill Vinod Khobragade by using obscene and casteist words.
Along with this, many lawyers had insulted Vinod Khobragade in a public place, disturbing the peace. The lawyers had committed this crime in a public place in front of all the witnesses.
Due to this, a case has been registered against them under the Scheduled Caste and Tribe Prevention Act. Due to this action, the lawyers of Chandrapur have realized what the law is and there is a case that they have developed a strong fear of the law.
For the first time in the history of the Chandrapur court, an FIR has been registered against Adv. Shrikant Kavatalwar and other ignorant lawyers under the Scheduled Caste and Tribe Prevention Section. This case is not yet known. It is a serious matter in the country.
Similarly, the accused lawyer, the current Additional District and Sessions Judge Chandrapur, told the court, “Abusing Vinod Khobragade in obscene and casteist terms in the court room itself, threatening to kill him alive, disturbing the peace of everyone present in the court room, deliberately insulting Vinod Khobragade, this sequence of events is extremely serious and shocking.
A case has been registered at Ramnagar Police Station Chandrapur under Sections 296, 352, 351(2) of the Indian Judicial Code Act 2023, and Section 3(1)(r) 3(1)(s) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Prevention of Atrocities Act 1989, Amendment 2016.
Earlier, an FIR has been registered against five accused including Adv. Rajesh Junarkar. Along with this, a criminal case has been registered against 20-25 senior learned lawyers and notices have been issued.
Some lawyers are conducting signature campaigns, holding meetings and giving statements against Vinod Khobragade and misleading their superiors.
Due to this, Vinod Khobragade has demanded immediate security and a license to carry arms for self-defense in a press conference today…
