Nagpur(Maharastra), June 15:Bharat Rashtra Samithi chief and Telangana Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday made a clarion call to the people of the country to reinvent and reorient the country for realising a qualitative and momentous change in the polity of the country. Addressing media persons after delivering key note address at the meeting of the BRS workers in Nagpur town of Maharashtra, the Telangana chief minister felt that a political vacuum was prevailing in the country in particular as the present ruling party and the projected alternative in Congress can not providethe momentum that India needs. the BRS chief felt that the national agenda has to be changed and felt that routine budgets year after year and usual methods and conventional thinking would not bring any big changes.
Suggesting reforms agenda and structural changes to leverage the country’s strength in the coming years the BRS supremo said economic reforms,constitutional reforms, electoral reforms, judicial reforms and administrative and governance reforms are essential to bring about a transformation in the country.
He mooted an actionable agenda for the change on the agriculture,irrigation and drinking water front along with health , environment and R and D on par with Telangana .
The Chief minister of Telangana reasserted that the people in the country were aiming for a change where the Farmer rule the country . “We make the slogan “Ab ki baar Kisaan Sarkar” a reality in the country and we make the Telangana model be opted by entire country in the coming days” , KCR affirmed. Addressing a massive gathering of BRS workers in Nagpur the Telangana chief minister detailed how the Telangana model of Farmer becoming a Raj can be practiced in the coming days in a country where the farmer is the prime personality.
Commencing his speech the BRS Chief touched certain aspects of paucity if drinking water, irrigation facilities and power crisis that is prevailing in Maharashtra state. He cited certain examples of Aurangabad, Akola and Nanded where a severe potable water crisis was prevailing during the summers. “Telangana, a neighbouring state of this part has achieved all the basic amenities with ease and with a planned approach” he asserted. The BRS chief detailed now the mission Bhageeratha , mission Kakatiya and execution of irrigation projects have helped the state achieve maximum results under the guidance of BRS government over the past decade. KCR said the new political party BRS was rather a mission and that mission would enable the farmer get the due share both in power and even on the production front. He said the present political set up was simply trying to concentrate on the change of baton without people’s involvement. “Janata should decide the power”, he announced amidst applause.He detailed how Dharani and other options have helped the land records have been regulated in the state of Telangana.
The public meeting is participated by BRS Kisan Morcha leader Manik Rao and Shankaranna Dongre and others along with BRS Parliamentary party leader K Keshava Rao &J.Santhosh Rao MP .
