It is obvious that if the financial transactions within the Gram Panchayat are not done according to the rules, the Sarpanch and the Gram Sevaks will be in charge of the Panchayat.
As political interference by various bodies has started to increase in the gram panchayats of Maharashtra state, many corrupt people under the function of the gram panchayats are seen to be getting away with corruption.
“Neither people nor mind, many leaders, officers, contractors, and Sarpanch-Secretaries have become like this under political interference.
However, the financial management of Mauja Kotgaon Gram Panchayat in Chimur Taluka under Chandrapur District is something else. Under this Gram Panchayat, it has been clearly seen that there is a working system of “no work and no money”.
That is, shocking information has come to light that lakhs of rupees were withdrawn and spent mutually without working under Kotgaon Gram Panchayat.
It is mandatory to carry out clean water supply works to the citizens according to the 60 percent fund through the fifteenth finance commission Rs.
Ideally expenditure on construction of village drains and maintenance of village cleanliness is mandatory.
Along with this, according to the 40 percent of the funds, there should be changes in the public interest in the relevant work and according to the 40 percent of the funds, 30 percent of the funds should be planned according to the needs of other people, helping the disabled people. There are cost limits on providing clothes, bags, shoes, books to school students, painting schools and Anganwadis.
However, in Kotgaon Gram Panchayat, it is known that an outsider of the Gram Panchayat, (not a member of the Gram Panchayat) is interfering in the financial affairs and the said person is interfering in every work and financial affairs on a daily basis.
The evidences show that these same persons took the hand of a political person (former PS Deputy Chairman) of Chimur taluka by throwing the gram sevak’s stick and illegally transferred Rs.
Gramsevak Mr. Dalanje of Kotgaon Gram Panchayat shows that he is a kingly person. Gramsevak Mr. Dalanje keeps his phone switched off to avoid giving information to journalists, and does not accept calls if the phone is on.
If the village sevaks think that if the journalists are not informed, then the force is avoided. But, in today’s era of online information, information and digital information, how can the force of wrongdoing be avoided?
He believed that the lakhs of rupees withdrawn without working were his private property and the shocking fact that the withdrawn rupees were released by mutual spending also came forward.
Lakhs of rupees extracted without working is not like eating butter on the scalp of citizens under Kotgaon Gram Panchayat? And isn’t it a fraud done by wrong way with the government-administration?
When the said person is not a Gram Panchayat office bearer, how could Gram Sevak Dalanje do the back transaction of withdrawing lakhs of rupees from 15 Finance Commission with digital signature by showing trust in him?
