Where is Transparency? — Citizens understand garbage and vegetables….

 Eye-catching

The Maharashtra government says that the government is committed to bringing transparency in the functioning of governance and administration. But, since it cannot be said when transparency will come, “the distressed citizens of Maharashtra state are seen to be frustrated and troubled due to the unruly behavior of officers and employees.

Distressed citizens submit applications and representations to officers under important problems. But the picture in some offices is that officers and employees consider the important applications and representations of citizens as filed away and treated as garbage.

Similarly, considering the applications and representations of citizens as unimportant, corrupt officers and employees with heartless and irresponsible minds and irresponsible actions make the applicants and representers go round and round the office, and speak to the applicants and representers in rude and insulting words, such is also the public sentiment in lakhs of numbers.

Due to this, it can be estimated how lethargic, how hardened, how irresponsible, how arrogant, how duty-less the public representatives, officers, employees in governance and administration have become.

Along with this, officers and employees with insensitive and callous minds take fat salaries — whether it is to insult citizens, to give wrong information to citizens, to keep citizens hanging, to keep the problems of citizens as they are, to prevent citizens from performing proper duties, to trouble citizens, to water the seeds of corruption, to protect corruption? The Maharashtra government should seriously think about this, such is the heartfelt cry of the public…

If officers and employees exist only to settle the work of ministers, MPs, MLAs, their office bearers, and senior officers on time without wasting time so as to look good in their eyes, then their accountability towards citizens has become zero, this is what will have to be understood!…

If the governance and administration that is irresponsible towards the people is failing to resolve the problems of ordinary citizens and is being negligent, then it is a reality that such governance and administration is fundamentally of a corrupt mindset and discriminatory working method.

MPs, MLAs, officers, employees are not needed to sit in cool air breaking chairs and showing the display of authority to citizens to carry out discriminatory duties — when will they become aware of this duty? And who will make them aware of excellent and impartial duty? This question is one that forces the government of Maharashtra state to introspect..

Merely strictly implementing government policy is not governance and administration! “Rather, resolving citizens’ problems and work on time, properly cooperating with citizens, telling citizens the truth — this is the real governance and administration, and ministers, MPs, MLAs, officers, employees are not so ignorant and foolish as to not know this..

If public representatives, officers, employees do not have the awareness of duty in accordance with transparency, then they cannot fulfil their accountability towards the public honestly, cannot do justice to their duty, this is the absolute truth.

Lying public representatives, officers and employees are killers of democracy and murderers of the feelings, thoughts, duties and labour of the public — one will have to start understanding this, such a terrible situation has become of the officers and employees working in government offices, local self-government institution offices and other offices.

Therefore, citizens of Maharashtra state need proper, excellent, duty-conscious, efficient, prompt, sensitive, just, honest, duty-ready and egalitarian governance and administration, this should be understood…

(This noteworthy is not for duty-conscious officers, employees, public representatives.)
