Reservation is not a beggar, but it is a representation under rights and a system of progress (upliftment) under opportunities, the creator of the Constitution, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, had explained to all the citizens of this country.

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, regardless of caste, religion, sect, to include the backward society, underdeveloped society, weak society, deprived society, exploited society, injustice-affected society, in the reservation category.

And according to the reservation, four types of categories were clarified. According to the next four categories, 1) OBC – 3,743 castes, 2) SC – 1,500 castes, 3) ST – 750 castes and 4) Minorities – 1,050 castes were included in the reservation category.

And further, if some castes are to be included in the reservation category, the Constitution has given full rights to the Central Government. Along with this, the State Government has also been given the right to decide the reservation policy. Some rights have been given.

However, it has become mandatory for the central and state governments to take a decision as per the Supreme Court verdict on whether to give reservation to some castes in India or not.

However, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis, has a law degree. Only he knows in which subject he is. But, he had said that if he comes to power in Maharashtra, he will get reservation for Maratha and Dhangar communities within 6 months.

Since his party is in power at the center and in the state, no one stopped him from passing the bill in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council to include Maratha and Dhangar communities in the reservation category as he said.

It seems that the Maharashtra government has the intention of keeping the reservation issue hanging and forcing the Maratha community to agitate for reservation.

Similarly, in order to kill time to give reservation to the Maratha community, some legal experts close to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis are seen using vulgar language while speaking legally on the issue of Maratha reservation.

Due to this, the Maratha community All the citizens of the Maratha community in Maharashtra state say that Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and his colleagues should become sensitive to providing legal reservation.

The delay by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Ajitdada, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in taking a decision on Maratha reservation has been a waste of time.

Due to this, Manoj Jarange Patil reached Azad Maidan in Mumbai with lakhs of his community brothers, which is a testament to the faith of reservation and the real morale of the rights of the Maratha community brothers.

Now Manoj Jarange Patil has declared that even if I am shot, I will not go back without getting reservation. Under this declaration, it is equally true that the death of Manoj Jarange Patil is not affordable for the Maharashtra rulers.

There are signs that even if Manoj Jarange Patil’s case is a setback, the Maratha community will never forgive Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and his party after this.

Similarly, Manoj Jarange Patil’s hunger strike in Mumbai is a page in history. The Maharashtra government, as the writer is, is telling the story of events that will take a decision after weighing the facts.

Nevertheless, the fact that the voice of Maratha reservation has become louder is due to the Maharashtra government.

Isn’t it better for Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and the police department to take immediate steps to provide reservation to the Maratha community sooner rather than focusing on how long the Maratha community is allowed to fast or protest?
