On the occasion of our national festival, ‘Independence Day’, I extend my warmest greetings to all Indian brothers and sisters. I wish all Indians to develop in all aspects. August 15 is the day India got political freedom. Innumerable idealists in India’s political freedom struggle have sacrificed their lives for the emergence of this day. They have dedicated their entire lives to this struggle. It was only due to the immense sacrifices of many that India was freed from the yoke of the British. All Indian citizens born in the post-independence period should be aware of this. We should act keeping in mind that we owe something to this country. But at present, it is seen that those who are especially advanced in the political field are more inclined to take everything than to give. This freedom was not given to the leaders and capitalists to exploit the common people, but to provide all-round welfare to all, now all the people should make the progressives and the rich in all fields here aware that There is a huge gap between the principles and practices in the behavior of the leaders and the rich. Today, all the fruits of independence have been swallowed by this class. Even today, 80 crore people in India have to be given free food grains, it is a shame that we have not been able to bring much development in the lives of the tribals, nomads, Dalits, and women of the lower classes of the country. It is not that the common people have not developed at all in the 75 years after independence, it has certainly happened to some extent. But the development of a handful has skyrocketed, but the common working man has remained below the poverty line. The responsible for this are the rich and political leaders who are dragging everything under their own feet.

Author Dr.Anant Da.Raut
The political freedom that India got was mostly benefited by the old feudal lords here. These people always fought with their lives to ensure that the people from the backward groups here do not come to the highest positions of power. Their struggle continues even today. These people who have remained in the traditional positions of power here always use the policy of division and division. The common people always fall prey to it. Therefore, the policies that develop the common people are not implemented here in a fair manner. Therefore, the economic inequality in India is increasing to a large extent. The social inequality created by the caste system has not yet ended. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar made many provisions in the Indian Constitution to convert political freedom into social and economic freedom. But the ruling class that would honestly implement those provisions has not been able to elect the voters of India. Therefore, everything is there, but it is concentrated in the hands of a handful. And even after 75 years of independence, the grassroots Indian citizens are forced to live on the beggars given by the rulers or the rich.
Every Indian boy and girl should get free and sound education. Every adult Indian should get work for his hands and brain. Work should be paid a fair price. Everyone should be able to meet their basic needs with dignity. They should be able to live with self-respect. Everyone should have intellectual development. No one should exploit anyone in India. No one should consider anyone inferior. This freedom has been achieved so that no one should commit injustice against anyone. But even after 75 years of independence, the injustice and atrocities against tribals, nomads, Dalits and women have not stopped in our country. Every 18 minutes, a Dalit is atrocities in India. Every week, 13 Dalits are murdered. These are the current reports of the Crime Bureau. Atrocities against Dalit women continue. We have not been able to take any steps towards ending the caste system that separates man from man and unequally distributes rights. It is a matter of great concern that many still do not realize that the caste system is something to be abolished. Until we end religious fanaticism and the caste system, India will not be united. Until India is united, it will not develop in all its parts, all Indian citizens should be aware of this on the occasion of Independence Day. When the political leaders of the country became corrupt, the people also became corrupt. When the political leaders became depraved, the people also became depraved. Forgetting that votes are something to be donated, they started selling votes. By selling votes, we started mortgaging our freedom to corrupt leaders for five years. This vicious cycle that started in India during the independence period has to be broken. The kind of selfless leadership that existed during the freedom struggle is no more today. Everyone has become indulgent and chauvinistic. Such chauvinistic people have to be shown their place to bring true freedom to everyone.
Everyone should now abandon this tendency of talking nonsense and acting against the principles, values, inclusiveness, and love. We should be careful that there is equality in thought and conduct. As long as there is a huge gap between our thoughts and conduct, no one will truly progress internally or externally, and we should act with vigilance.
Once again, warm wishes for Independence Day.
