Last night between 10 and 11 pm, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Rakesh Jadhav caught a truck filled with sand illegally on Kampa Road in Chimur city and seized it at Police Station Chimur.
The number of the seized truck is MH40, CT4446. This action is part of a good duty.
But is the police department mentally prepared to control illegal sand and sand theft? This question is creating confusion in the minds of the public.
Illegal sand mining is going on in full swing in Chimur taluka. The illegal sand miners are relatives of BJP workers and MLA Kirtikumar Bhangadia. Due to this, it is clear that Tehsildar Shridhar Rajmane and the Mandal Officers, Talathi, and Police Department officials are consciously ignoring illegal sand mining.
However, yesterday, April 22, 2025, Tuesday, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Rakesh Jadhav caught a truck illegally loaded with sand on Kampa Road in Chimur city and seized it at the police station.
The seriousness of his duty depends on what action Sub-Divisional Police Officer Rakesh Jadhav takes against the said truck owners and truck drivers.
Similarly, Tehsildar Shridhar Rajmane consciously ignores the illegal sand and sand mining by big smugglers. Due to this, he is always accused by the common citizens that he is burdened by the burden of power.
It is clear that Tehsildar Shridhar Rajmane and Thanedar Nishant Phulekar, in-charge of Bhisi Police Station, were not legally sound in their minds and did not perform their duties properly in taking action following the seizure of two haywa and one pokaland under illegal sand mining yesterday.
At the same time, should we say that the power of MLA Kirtikumar Bhangadia was intimidating or pressurizing Chimur Tehsildar Shridhar Rajmane and Thanedar Nishant Phulekar, in-charge of Bhisi Police Station?
Because since both the haywa belonged to the company of MLA Kirtikumar Bhangadia’s father and brother and the pokaland belonged to his close workers in Bhisi, Tehsildar Shridhar Rajmane and Thanedar Nishant Phulekar, in-charge of Bhisi Police Station, did not dare to take appropriate action.
Due to this, it is clear that all the common citizens have lost trust in the concerned officers and employees of Chimur taluka.
