An unfortunate incident has come to light from Takli in Maregaon taluka. A child has died due to snake bite.

The name of this 14-month-old baby is Kavya Vaibhav Khewle. She was bitten by a poisonous Manyar snake.

But she died due to lack of treatment in time. After Kavya’s death, mourning has spread in the village. The villagers have alleged that the health department is responsible for Kavya’s death.

Further information is that mother Pallavi and only 14 months old Kavi were sleeping in her lap. Meanwhile, at 2 o’clock in the night, the snake entered their bed and bit Kavi’s leg.

As soon as she was bitten, Kavya started crying. As soon as the mother woke up, she saw a venomous snake nearby. After being bitten, she was taken to the Maregaon Government Hospital for treatment, but as there was no treatment there, she was shifted to a private hospital in Vani.

Had she received treatment in time at Maregaon, her life might have been saved. Due to Kavya’s death, mourning has spread in the village. The villagers have put the health administration on edge, and the villagers have alleged that the health department is responsible for Kavya’s death.

Chimukali’s father Vaibhav Khewle was accompanying his father Maroti Khewle to Umari for treatment due to his paralysis.

“The villagers say, the health system of the taluka should be competent.

Since the citizens of the village are treated at the taluka place, the taluka level government upazila hospital must have medicines for all diseases.

Along with this, it is necessary for the doctors of the taluka to be experts and experienced. Due to this, the Maharashtra state government should take care that the citizens of the villages should not be killed without treatment.
