The book release ceremony of “Why change the constitution?” written by And. Shivaji Kokane was organized on July 26 at Patrakar Bhavan Ganjve Chowk, Lal Bahadur Shastri Pune Road – 30 in Pune.
The office bearers of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi made a legal effort to cancel the book release ceremony by submitting a representation to the Pune Police Commissioner.
It was made clear that if the book release ceremony program is not canceled, we and the police administration will be responsible if a law and order issue arises.
The book release ceremony was canceled after legal pressure was applied. However, “Why change the constitution?” This issue is very serious and a written complaint has been filed demanding that a case of sedition be filed against the author of the book and the organizers of the book release ceremony.
