In this entire democratic system, how and why is the global intellectual class—and only the global intellectual class—the root cause and the guilty party behind this potential World War? — Part 06…..

In the previous five parts, the author argued that if a war were to erupt between Israel/America and Iran—and if the consequences of such a conflict were to escalate into a global nuclear war—then this global intellectual class, and only this class, would be held responsible. The general public, in this scenario, bears absolutely no fault. In response to this opinion of the author, many individuals put forth the counter-argument that the intellectual class could not possibly be held responsible. Consequently, here follows the author’s clarification on the matter:

In any democratic nation, the institution of Judges and Justices serves a specific function: whenever the ordinary, unlettered masses find themselves ensnared in various forms of crisis, they cry out in desperation—much as one would to the Divine—pleading, “Oh God, come to my aid! You are my only hope!” What, broadly speaking, is the underlying significance of this sentiment?

It signifies simply this: whenever an ordinary, innocent human being finds themselves trapped in a major crisis of any kind, they come to believe that only God possesses the power to save them. They reason that since God brought them into existence, He alone cares for their well-being; thus, reassuring themselves with this conviction, they turn to God in supplication. This represents the innocent and pure-hearted mindset of the general public.

Indeed, the very same degree of faith—if not an even greater degree—that the general public places in God, they also place in the dignity and authority embodied by these Judges and Justices.

This is because, within the framework of the Indian Constitution, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar meticulously outlined the constitutional duties of the Supreme Court through Articles 124 to 147, and those of the High Courts through Articles 214 to 243.

Whenever an individual occupies that judicial seat to dispense justice, they are bound to listen attentively to the arguments presented by both opposing parties. Both parties, in turn, strive with 100% effort—employing either strategic acumen or their own moral conscience—to convince the court, through the presentation of evidence, that their side alone represents the absolute truth. However, a judge or justice occupying this position must—by consulting the dictates of their own conscience and without recourse to any diplomatic maneuvering—uncover the unvarnished truth of the events, punish the guilty in accordance with the penal code, and deliver justice to the innocent individual or group. It is precisely this monumental task—the fulfillment of this constitutional responsibility—that such judges and justices are called upon to perform; indeed, it constitutes their fundamental constitutional duty. It is for this very reason that the common people continue to place their trust in the judiciary to this day. “However, ‘when the common people of this country finally realize the true nature of the ‘game’ being played within our judicial system, a French Revolution is bound to erupt in our nation.’ — Markandey Katju (Retired Justice, Supreme Court)

Similarly, on January 12, 2018, four Justices of the Supreme Court—Justice Chelameswar, Justice Ranjan Gogoi, Justice Madan Lokur, and Justice Kurian Joseph—held a press conference not merely to express constitutional dissent, but to vent their deep-seated frustration regarding the then Chief Justice of India, Justice Dipak Misra…

Likewise, on March 21, 2025, after a fire broke out at the residence of Delhi High Court Justice Yashwant Varma, a massive amount of cash was discovered…

Countless such incidents have occurred and have successfully reached the public domain. But what of the incidents—perhaps even more significant in scale—that have taken place yet never managed to reach us? Their number is truly incalculable!

There are, of course, some exemplary judges as well. For instance, Justice Lahoti, a District Judge in Madhya Pradesh, formally submitted a written request stating that he should receive only 25% of his entitled salary and that he did not wish to receive any pension upon retirement. He remains unmarried and performs the noble duty of delivering justice while simultaneously caring for his elderly mother; ‘however, such paragons of virtue are a rare breed indeed!’

The vast majority, however, resemble Justice Yashwant Varma. Consequently, today, the common citizen does not truly receive ‘justice’ from the courts; instead, after endless waiting, they merely receive a ‘verdict.’ This is the stark reality.

That is precisely why the opinion articulated by Justice Markandey Katju—intended indirectly as a warning to the public—is, without a doubt, 100% accurate and true to reality!” It is precisely for this reason that the judges and intellectuals within other democratic nations of the world—driven by self-interest, and having fed their own egos—have employed cunning diplomacy to permanently stifle their inner conscience; consequently, the common people have been deprived of justice. As a result, the global populace today finds itself in a state of living death—dying while they live, and living while they die.

This very situation has precipitated conditions akin to a global world war; should a global nuclear conflict inevitably erupt from this crisis, it is this very class of judges and intellectuals that will, indirectly, bear the sole responsibility.

Note : The explanation of how this class of intellectuals is responsible for this impending global war will be presented in tomorrow’s installment.
