As soon as the serious incident of atrocities on a minor girl spread in Chimur city on the night of April 14, hundreds of citizens reached the police station.

However, while expressing outrage over the incident, some citizens who had gathered at the police station lost control of their minds and an incident of vandalism that could not be prevented by stone-throwing took place.

In this stone-throwing, the glass of the Chimur police station broke and a female police constable was injured.

However, the police department took serious note of the stone-pelting and the inappropriate incident and now serious cases have been registered against many. Therefore, it is time for Chimurkars to say, “What has been done and the law has spread its legs.”

In reality, after the arrest of the accused, the Chimur police had to handle the case sensibly.

Chimurkars had to easily understand that since the Chimur police had fulfilled their duty in time by arresting the atrocious accused who had tortured the minor girl, everyone has to wait for the decision according to the judicial procedures.

Considering this legal matter, the police does not give a decision regarding the accused, citizens need to be aware that correspondence has to be sent to the Governor, Chief Minister, and Home Minister of the State of Maharashtra for a proper and early decision.

However, after arresting the accused, it is not right to create some inappropriate incidents thinking that the police is the supreme authority regarding the punishment of the accused.

However, so that the accused does not escape the clutches of the law, there is a demand for a proper investigation and proper sending of the investigation report of the incident. It cannot be denied that it is appropriate.

However, signs are now starting to appear that the inappropriate incident of stone pelting at Chimur Police Station will come back to haunt many.

(This incident falls under Chimur Police Station and Chimur is the seat of the taluka. Chimur is a sensitive city in Chandrapur district. Chandrapur district is in the state of Maharashtra…)
