EVM awareness campaign stopped in Karad..

          Karad:- According to the instructions of the Central Election Commission, a public awareness campaign was started at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Chowk here on behalf of the Election Department.

        On this occasion, officials of Bhimshakti Social Organization and citizens protested against the EVM machine and stopped the public awareness rally.

         After Tehsildar Dontulla Chandra and Naib Tehsildar Rathod visited the spot and discussed with the citizens, the atmosphere calmed down after the election department promised a joint meeting.

       In the wake of the Lok Sabha elections, a voter awareness campaign has been launched as per the instructions of the Central Election Commission.

         In this, public awareness is being spread about the use and utility of EVMs through vehicles with digital screens in Karad.

       On Saturday afternoon Dr. While the public awareness program of EVM machine was going on at Babasaheb Ambedkar Chowk, Bhimshakti Social Organization District President Anandrao Lade, Nisar Mulla, Vijay Katre, Imran Mulla etc. officials, activists and citizens bombarded the concerned officials regarding the EVM machine. As they could not give adequate answers, the awareness campaign was stopped.

         After that, Tehsildar Chandra, Naib Tehsildar Rathod, Talathi Sachin Nikam, election staff, police arrived at the spot.

        On behalf of the Bharat Mukti Morcha, while giving a statement to the Tehsildars, many questions were raised regarding the EVM machine.

       It has also been demanded to stop the awareness campaign until the Election Department provides transparent information about EVMs.
