These 7 statements of his have created a stir. It is believed that the freedom of expression is being stifled in India and that it has given a big blow to the democratic image of India.

They have said that the Government of India has ordered us to close or suspend certain accounts. Accordingly we have to take this action.

We are reluctantly complying with this order of the Government of India, as failure to do so may result in imprisonment or heavy fines, but we disagree with this action.

We have to take this action out of necessity. Dwitter also says that if the closed accounts are not visible in India, we have kept them active in other parts of the world.

Currently farmers are protesting on the border of Punjab. The Twitter accounts of many farmer leaders in that protest have been closed. Also, many YouTube channels raising their voice against the government have also been banned. Although this matter has not been officially announced, now Elon Musk himself has expressed his displeasure by reading it.
