Will the Government of India and the State Governments seriously address the essential basic problems of the poor? — When will the poverty situation of the poor improve? — The red tape of the government and administration does not allow the poor to live or die properly…

Although the Government of India and Maharashtra has kept the citizens of rural and urban areas involved in many schemes, the living standards of the poor citizens are not being improved through these schemes and their economic, educational, social, political, and business conditions are not being improved.

Farmers, laborers, landless, unemployed, wandering citizens, homeless citizens, beggars, and dependent citizens fall under the definition of poverty in India.

To promote the businesses of a few capitalists in India, they were often given loans worth crores of rupees by various financial institutions and banks through the mediation of the Government of India, and these loans were waived by the Government of India…

Since capitalist businessmen give money to political parties to contest elections in general elections, the Government of India and the State Government cannot do anything for capitalist businessmen. Ready…

But the capitalist businessmen to whom the Government of India is helping to give various types of loans and waives off their loans worth crores of rupees are the ones who take money from the seven-party and other party businessmen in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. This is the biggest corrupt policy, “It is clear that the citizens of the Bahujan community, the original residents of India, are keeping them poor and depriving them of their basic rights.

For example : – The poor citizens of rural and urban areas have experienced that various schemes of the Maharashtra government for houses on government land for the poor are being used to promote these schemes in name only.

While the citizens of rural and urban areas have been living on government land with their families for 12 to 50 years, they are not given ownership rights of that land and even through the Gharkul scheme, the red tape of the government and administration does not allow them to build houses on that land, such a big neglect is being done to the poor in rural and urban areas…

Not only this, the Government of India and the State Government, which are giving thousands of acres of land to capitalist businessmen at rock bottom prices, What should we say about the fact that the ownership rights of Jabaranjyot land for the livelihood of the poor are not given to the Jabaranjyot holders despite a struggle? The Indian government and the state government are exploiting the poor and the poor, “Is that government our government?” This is the biggest tragedy on earth.

During the BJP’s rule, the houses of the poor on government land are being demolished. They are being made homeless. Their future is being destroyed. They are being brought out into the open and made poor. Their children’s education is being seriously affected. They are being forced to wander around, is this our government? Isn’t this a funny definition of our government…

Through schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) and Ramai Awas Yojana, small financial assistance is provided to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Low Income Group (LIG) for affordable houses.

In this scheme, the central government has set a target of building 2 crore houses for the urban poor. Financial assistance, interest subsidy on home loans and other facilities are provided under PMAY. In this scheme, EWS/LIG families are given the opportunity to buy their own houses. Financial assistance is provided.

Ramai Awas Yojana is a scheme in Maharashtra, especially for the Scheduled Castes in urban areas. In this scheme, eligible beneficiaries are given subsidies to build or repair houses. Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to build or purchase houses.

But while it is also the primary duty of the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra to provide space for housing due to the increasing population, both the governments are not implementing such policies strictly. This can be called their policy of suppressing the poor and their exploitative approach of depriving the poor citizens of their basic rights like shelter.

Apart from this, there are many other state and central sponsored schemes, which provide housing facilities to the poor.

Some of the major reasons for poverty in India…

Low economic growth:-

India’s economic growth is slow in the early and present period after independence.

Lack of industrialization…

Political instability and corruption cause difficulties in development work. Due to this, it is necessary to take large-scale measures to reduce poverty in India

Poverty and development in India are both complex and interrelated problems. Poverty is the inability to meet basic needs like food, clothing, shelter, education and health.

Development is not the effort to meet these needs and improve the standard of living.

Reference :- In India, many schemes and programs are being implemented to eradicate poverty, but there is still a big challenge.

Causes of poverty in India…

Due to lack of adequate employment, people face poverty. Lack of education and skills has made it difficult to get a good job.

Along with this, due to social inequality, some people do not get opportunities due to caste and gender discrimination, which increases poverty.

Similarly, poverty in rural areas increases due to low agricultural production and natural disasters.

As the country’s economy grows, the standard of living of the people improves.

Development of infrastructure means development can be achieved through facilities like roads, electricity, water.

But development is hampered because poor people cannot get good education and cannot do good work. Poverty can be reduced through development because good education, health and employment improve the standard of living of the people. Poverty and development are both interdependent, therefore it is necessary to work together on both problems.

While empowering women, it is necessary to provide quality education to women and provide equal opportunities in employment.

Rural Development

Both poverty eradication and development are important to make India a developed country. The government and citizens need to work together to overcome both these problems.

What are the consequences of poverty?

One of the most difficult challenges that independent India has experienced is poverty and it brings more challenges in life.

The biggest challenge of poverty is poor health. People suffering from poverty do not get enough food, proper clothing, medical facilities and a clean environment. That person suffers a lot due to poverty.

Poverty is a serious problem.

Many synonyms are used in Marathi for the word poor. Some of the main synonyms are as follows. Which include Daridri, Kangal, Din, Rank, Anath, Niradhar, Pichelela, and Nikskanchan.

It is difficult to say when the Government of India and the State of Maharashtra, which open all the ways for capitalist businessmen, will become sensitive to the rights of poor citizens and open all the ways for overall development!..
