Alandi: Man is constantly striving to fulfill his own needs. However, we cannot forget that we have to give something to the society where we were born, where we grew up, and the society that loved us.

And with this in mind, Niyati Shinde and her family in Alandi Devachi, a major pilgrimage site in Maharashtra, and her family have started an old age home named Matoshree Ashram through Niyati Foundation for orphans, victims, homeless and citizens.

This old age home has completed 5 years now and fifty to sixty grandparents live in it. Niyati Shinde and her family take care of their grandparents who live here like their parents. His Matoshree Vriddhasram is located at Vishrantvad near Charholi Khurd in Alandi rural area.

Neeti Shinde of Matoshree Old Age Home did not have much education, but she is very fond of social service. Currently, there are many grandparents in this old age home. It is a great pleasure to serve them, some social organizations are also involved in our service work.

Niyati Shinde has commented that all this is possible because of this. Everyone is like their parents Shinde feels that every grandparent living in this old age home is like their parents. Our hearts are very sad when we hear their suffering, the same child who gave birth is not taking care of his parents today. We are fortunate to serve them. We try not to let them know that you are in an old age home away from home. Seeing the happiness on their faces makes us feel like our lives are successful.

They also treat us like children. Niyati Shinde shared this experience with the right to say anything on the mind. Now this is our home Matoshree Vriddhasram has become our home. We all live happily here. None of us feel homesick. Niyati Shinde and family both take great care of us. They bring the things we need immediately. Bhajans, Kirtans, sermons, various entertaining games are played at Matoshree Vriddhasram. We have a TV here. So we are well entertained. Also they take us out for a walk.

Therefore, a grandmother living here expressed the feeling that now the old age home is our home. Niyati Shinde’s service work of Niyati Foundation has been recognized by various social organizations and she has been honored with various awards.
