With illegal activities rampant in Chimur taluka of Chandrapur district, as well as across Maharashtra state, the question of who is responsible is becoming increasingly complex.

However, it appears that the responsible officers and police officials are completely neglecting these illegal activities, thereby tarnishing the character of the police department.

Moreover, they are unable to erase the tarnished image of the police department due to these illegal activities; this is the reality…

However, the discussion of bribery associated with these illegal activities has become commonplace among the public, and it cannot be denied that the amount paid monthly to the police department by those involved in illegal businesses is substantial.

Men and women in urban and rural areas are asking, if the police are not corrupt, then why don’t they shut down the illegal businesses of country liquor, foreign liquor, gambling, and betting that are operating in every village?…

The increasing audacity of those involved in illegal businesses in every village is a result of the protection and blessings of the police department, according to ordinary citizens who have not fallen prey to addiction.

Similarly, it is being said that the police’s friends are not the police patils and informants, but rather those involved in illegal businesses. Because of this, the association with illegal business operators seems to be giving the police department joy and satisfaction.

But, the burning question regarding the safety of women, men, students, and young men and women from all sections of society is repeatedly highlighting the inefficiency of the police department. Now, men and women in urban and rural areas are beginning to feel ashamed of this; what about this?

Illegal businesses are rampant in Chimur taluka of Chandrapur district, as well as across Maharashtra state. Since this is the situation, whom should one tell about this? To whom should one complain? The public believes that the District Collector and the District Superintendent of Police should inform the public about this through their respective channels and alleviate their sense of insecurity.

When will the officers of the police department, who are responsible for the safety of the public, understand that they cannot turn a blind eye to illegal activities? This is a thought-provoking question…

But, will the police department deny that the ongoing infiltration of those involved in illegal businesses into the police department is becoming a serious cause for concern?

Perhaps the police department is unaware that citizens are worried about how to restore the excellent character and unwavering trust they once had in the police force!

The police officers and police personnel are the force that performs its duty tirelessly, knowing its own responsibility and capabilities. Therefore, their bravery and honor must continuously be maintained in the public consciousness!
