          Extortion is a stain on the government and administrative machinery. This stain does not allow corrupt officers and employees to perform their duties excellently, impartially, and properly. Because of this, it appears that extortion is murdering both duty and responsibility.

          Due to this, the police’s conduct is irresponsible, and citizens in the rural and urban areas of Chimur taluka have formed the opinion that the police deliberately ignore illegal businesses because they are corrupt.

           Similarly, it appears that due to extortion related to illegal businesses, the local police have set aside their duty of protecting the public.
