Nevajabai Hitkarini Vidyalaya, located in Navegaon Pandav, has carved a niche for itself in the ‘Chanda Jyoti Super-100’ initiative—a highly ambitious project undertaken by the Education Department of the Chandrapur Zilla Parishad.

Three meritorious students from this school—Dhanashree Dnyaneshwar Nannavare, Shruti Bhaurao Nannavare, and Akshara Agnyan Lonare—have secured their spots in the ‘Super-100’ cohort by achieving resounding success in the district-level’s rigorous screening examination.

Approximately 8,000 students from across the entire district appeared for this initiative, which was implemented to foster the educational advancement of students belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes; from this pool, a select group of 75 students was chosen.

The selection of three students from a single school amidst such fierce competition is being hailed as a matter of immense pride for both the school and the entire local community.

Thanks to this selection, the obstacles standing in the way of these rural students’ aspirations to become doctors or engineers have now been cleared. The Zilla Parishad Education Department is set to provide these students with specialized training to support their future higher education.

Notably, since the Education Department will bear the entire cost of their accommodation and training, the doors to engineering and medical education have now been thrown wide open for them.

Following this historic achievement by the students, an atmosphere of joy prevails throughout the entire Navegaon Pandav region, and they are being showered with accolades and appreciation.

On the occasion of this success, the institution’s patron—Ashokji Bhaiya—along with the Principal, the entire teaching faculty, and the non-teaching staff, have extended their heartfelt congratulations to all three students.

“It has been proven once again that whenever talent from rural areas is provided with the right opportunities, the contribution of Ne. Hi. Vidyalaya remains unparalleled.”
