Republic Day Celebrated with Patriotic Zeal at Athavale College of Social Work, Chimur…

         ACSW, Chimur celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit on the college campus. The programme was organised in the presence of faculty members, non-teaching staff, students, and NSS volunteers.

               The celebration began with the flag hoisting ceremony, which was jointly conducted by Dr. Kedarsingh ji Rotele,Madhu Madam, and Dr. Shubhangi Lunge Madam, Principal, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, “Jana Gana Mana.” The atmosphere was filled with pride and respect for the nation.

           Thereafter, the Preamble of the Indian Constitution was solemnly read by Dr. Veena Kakde madam, reminding everyone of the core values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity enshrined in the Constitution.

              An introductory speech was delivered by Dr. Chandrabhan Khangar sir who highlighted the historical significance of Republic Day and emphasized the relevance of constitutional values in contemporary India.

          The programme was further enriched by insightful speeches delivered by distinguished speakers. Dr. Shubhangi Lunge Madam, addressed the gathering and encouraged students to uphold constitutional values and social responsibility. Madhu Kedarsingh ji Rotele Madam extended her warm Republic Day wishes and inspired students with her motivating words. Ms. Pollanwar, a student of MSW Final Year, shared her thoughts on patriotism and the role of youth in nation-building. Associate Professor Mr. Hemant Warghane sir also addressed the gathering, emphasizing civic duties and democratic ethics.

             The entire programme was anchored by Dr. Preeti Dave, NSS Programme Officer, who smoothly coordinated the event and guided the proceedings with clarity and dignity.

        The Republic Day celebration served as a meaningful reminder of India’s constitutional ideals and strengthened the spirit of unity, patriotism, and democratic responsibility among the participants.
