Nagbhid:- The meritorious students in villages who make a commendable academic progress in adverse conditions with sheer hard work. However, the good fortune of receiving praise on their backs is rare. However, the meritorious students’ celebration organized in the community temple in Mintur for the past 7 years in memory of Ishwar-Sakhumai Chavan was heartwarming. The guidance of the guests present was invaluable.
In memory of Ishwar Rakhumai Chavan, the Chavan family held a felicitation ceremony for the meritorious students of Mintur and Navegaon villages who passed class X and class XII on July 12, 2025.
The meritorious students were felicitated by giving them school supplies, mementos, certificates of honor and cash. The chairman of this melodious program was Dr. Sandeep Gedam, Joint Director (Health Department). Vinod Chhaganlal Bhaiya, Principal, gave the direction to the meritorious students for their future. High School Navegaon Pandav, Prof. Mahesh Panse, State Vice President, State Journalists Association, Arunji Chavan, Retired Teacher, Balapur, Adv. Sharmilatai Ramteke, Former Sarpanch, Navegaon Pandav were present. Special presence was given by Mrs. Vishakha Tai Dongre, Sarpanch, Mintur.
All the dignitaries guided the children and gave them the mantra of success and progress. On this occasion, Bhimraoji Undirwade Chandrapur, Shantatai Gedam Nagpur, Nikhil Shende Brahmapuri were mainly present to give a pat on the back of the meritorious students of the village. Parents of the meritorious students of both the villages were present in large numbers.
The program was coordinated by teacher Mrs. Priyanka Undirwade. The program was introduced by the head organizer Ratiram Chavan and the vote of thanks was given by Angad Arun Chavan.
For the past many years, the Chavan family, realizing that they have a duty towards the village and the village area, has been organizing and carrying out this heartwarming program to give a pat on the back to meritorious students. It is special that the villagers and students of Navegaon Pandav and Mintur eagerly await this appreciation.
