An angry mob pelted stones at the police station on the night of April 14 in connection with the rape case of a minor girl. In this stone-pelting, the glass of the Chimur police station building was broken by the angry mob and a female police constable was injured in the stone-pelting.

The damage caused by the stone-pelting by the angry mob had repercussions in the entire Chandrapur district. Due to this, tight security was immediately put in place by the police department in Chimur city for the safety of the citizens and it is still there.

After the serious case of stone pelting, cases have been registered against the accused under 13 different sections of the IPC. Out of these, 2 types of IPC sections are related to life imprisonment. While 1 type of IPC section is related to imprisonment up to 10 years.

IPC section 195 (1) and (2) are related to false evidence. Under this IPC section, there is a provision of imprisonment of up to 7 years or death penalty.

Along with this, IPC section 132 is related to assault to prevent a public servant from performing his duty. There is a provision of life imprisonment under this section.

Similarly, IPC section 329 states that if anyone attempts to cause grievous hurt intentionally and causes grievous hurt, then the accused is liable to imprisonment up to 10 years.

This is why local journalists have asked, “Despite repeated requests, the Chimur police did not give them the true copy of the crime filed. Why was the true copy of the crime filed not given to the journalists? The puzzle in this regard is known only to the police department and the sub-divisional police officer Rakesh Jadhav.

However, the question is being raised by the citizens of Chimur taluka that the case was to be suppressed to save the accused BJP-supported activists, so the true copy of the crime filed should not have been given to the local journalists.

However, according to the news published in the Dainik Deshonneti news paper, it came to light that cases have been registered against the accused who threw stones and obstructed government work under 13 types of Bhandavi karma.

The names of all the accused against whom cases have been registered have been published by the Dainik Navrashtra newspaper.

It is being said in the public that all the accused in connection with serious crimes are related to the BJP party.

Since a BJP-supported activist (being from a big family) has been accused in a serious case, Chimur assembly constituency MLA Kirtikumar Bhangadia A serious case has come to light that Chimur Sub-Divisional Police Officer Rakesh Jadhav, abusing his power, camped in the office of Chimur Sub-Divisional Police Officer Rakesh Jadhav for 2 consecutive days and made an agreement not to arrest the BJP-supported accused.

Following the pressure tactics of MLA Kirtikumar Bhangadia for two consecutive days, Chimur Sub-Divisional Police Officer Rakesh Jadhav released the BJP-supported criminal accused without arresting them and gave them a chance to break the windows of other offices including the police station and beat up police constables and other government employees on duty in the future.

Crime No. 151/2025, under Sec.189(2),189(5),191(2),191(3),195(1),195(2), 190,192,132,121(1),329(4),130 BNS Subsection 3 Prevention of Loss of Public Property Act Shri.Nikhil Asawa Bhute, Shri.Lalla, Shri.Pankaj Shirbhaye, Mr. Shubham Bhope, Mr. Rakesh Satone, Mr. Bablu Jadhav, Mr. Golu Bharadkar, Mr. Dheeraj Satpaise, Mr. Sandeep Kawre, Mr. Tejas Borsare, Mr. Vicky Katare, Mr. Manmeet Kumbhare, Mr. Gaurav Gaukar, Mr. Harsh Katare, Mr. Pawan Bande, Mr. Golu Kapse, Mr. Vishal Sorde, Mr. Ram Gulab Mane, Mr. Abhishek Dire Cases have been registered against him and 20 to 25 others.

If the rest of the accused supported by BJP were not to be arrested, then why did the Chimur police arrest only Mr. Ram Gulab Mane and Mr. Abhishek Dyre? Now both of them have been sent to jail under MCR till the 28th.

No matter how big a crime the workers of BJP allies commit, they do not want to be arrested. If there is a major bomb blast, arrest them and release them on bail is a new trend in the state of Maharashtra, and signs are clear that this will have far-reaching serious consequences.

Will the role of BJP and allies, the lack of legal action against the accused party workers, push Maharashtra into crime? The common citizens have already started to fear this.

However, will all those BJP-supported accused of Chimur who pelted stones at the police, broke the glass of Chimur police station, injured Chimur women police constables while pelting stones, and obstructed government work by entering Chimur police station, be arrested? The attention of the citizens of Chimur taluka and the state of Maharashtra is focused on this.

But what is the stance of Maharashtra Chief Minister and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Chandrapur District Superintendent of Police Sudarshan Mukkama regarding the accused? This has caught the attention of the citizens of Chimur taluka.
