It has come to light that a four-and-a-half-year-old girl was lured to her house while she was playing in the yard with her girlfriend and tortured. It has come to light that the incident happened yesterday at Mauja Dabkahetti in Chimur taluka.
Accused Amol Gautam Khobragade, aged 34 years, lives away from the house of the abused girl. However, the abused girl came to play at her friend’s house.
After the torture, the girl went home crying in unbearable pain and told her grandmother about the whole incident. As soon as Chimukali’s parents came home from the farm, Chimukali’s grandmother gave them all the information about the torture incident.
Without wasting time, the girl’s parents reached the Bhisi police station and filed a complaint of torture. As soon as the complaint was lodged, the accused were booked under Section 376, 376(2)(J), 376(AB), R.W 4, 8, 12 under Crime No. 233/23. , a case was registered under PESCO. After this, Chimukali was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Under the guidance of Chandrapur District Superintendent of Police and Chimur Sub Divisional Police Officer, Thanedar of Bhisi Police Station Pramod Raut laid a trap and arrested the accused from his own house overnight.
While arresting accused Amol Gautam Khobragade, Thanedar Pramod Raut, Sub-Inspector Sachin Jangam, Jambhulghat Bit Jamadar Amol Navghare and other police colleagues were present.
