It has come to light that a male bear fell into a well and died in Vaghalpet area while roaming freely at night.
During the night, three bears were roaming in the Waghalpet area. The two-year-old male bear fell into the well as the well was not open. In the morning, the farmers and citizens saw two bears walking around the well.
Due to this, the citizens suspected that something had happened. When they rushed to the spot, it was seen that a bear had fallen in the well.
The citizens noticed that the bear lying in the well was struggling to save itself, because of this it was exhausted and tired.
The citizens of the area informed the concerned forest guards about the bear lying in the well.
As soon as Forest Range Officer Kishore Deulkar got information about the incident, he dispatched a team of the Forest Department to the incident site and himself entered the incident site.
The forest department team and the citizens present tried to save the male bear by rescue operation. But their efforts failed. The forest range officer Kishore Deulkar managed to save the life of the male bear before reaching the spot. The forest range officer Mr. Outkar also reached the spot late.
