Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed protest against the incident in Sangli, Maharashtra state is a prosperous state and our government has paid attention to this matter to control hooliganism and information has been received from Guardian Minister Namdar Chandrakant Dada Patil.

Sangli police have foiled the conspiracy to murder Sanjay Bhokre, State Organizer of Maharashtra State Marathi Journalists’ Union and Group Editor of ‘Dainik Janpravas’. Three suspected accused have been arrested in this matter, and pistols and sharp weapons have been seized from them.
Against the backdrop of this incident, the Journalists’ Union today met Chief Minister and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Water Resources Minister Girish Mahajan directly at the Mantralaya and demanded immediate police protection for Sanjay Bhokre while traveling throughout the state.
At this time, the delegation included Maharashtra State Journalists’ Union General Secretary Dr. Vishwas Arote, State President Nilesh Somani, State Publicity Chief Navnath Jadhav, Mantralaya Contact Chief Vishnu Bure, Maharashtra State Journalists’ Union Brand Ambassador Sanjay Phulsundar, and Union member Khanduraj Gaikwad.
At this time, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis accepted the demand to provide protection to Mr. Bhokre.
Murder attempt after reconnaissance…..
Two country-made pistols, four live cartridges and other dangerous weapons have been recovered from the arrested accused. Notably, it has come to light in the police investigation that these accused have been conducting ‘recce’ (surveillance) of Sanjay Bhokre since the month of February.
It appears in the preliminary investigation that all this is going on with the intention of grabbing the lands of Ambabai Talim Sanstha.
Fear of ‘Plan B’….
After this action, Sanjay Bhokre himself has expressed a strong possibility of another attack according to ‘Plan B’. This makes it clear that the entire Bhokre family is in the crosshairs of people with criminal tendencies.
Key demands of the Journalists’ Union…..
The following demands have been made in the memorandum given to the Chief Minister by Maharashtra State Marathi Journalists’ Union.
1) Sanjay Bhokre has to travel throughout the state, keeping in mind the threat to his life, he should get tight police protection throughout the state.
2) Who is the main ‘mastermind’ behind this conspiracy, should be investigated and strict legal action should be taken against them.
