Straight Talk

While illegal activities run rampant throughout Chimur Taluka, the prevailing picture suggests that the concerned local officials—along with their senior counterparts—have gone completely passive, choosing instead to remain silent.
Whoever has managed to pull off the feat of effectively neutralizing the authority and official powers of all the concerned officers is not merely a master manipulator; it appears, rather, that he is a criminal ‘Don’ with a deep-seated background in organized crime.
Who is this individual who has reduced the concerned officials—both within Chimur Taluka and across Chandrapur District—to such a pathetic state of helplessness that they are left “neither here nor there”? This is the question that now confronts the officials themselves. If officials in the Chimur taluka—and indeed across Chandrapur—believe themselves to be self-respecting, honest, diligent, and dutiful, then a question arises for them: Why do you not stake your professional integrity to put an end to the illicit activities rampant in Chimur taluka?
Furthermore, why do these very officials not rebel against—or expose—anyone who, by abusing political power, pressures or coerces them into allowing these illicit activities to continue? Why do they not legally unmask the ringleaders of this mafia?
Allowing illicit activities to persist on such a large scale in Chimur taluka amounts to directly fueling a corrupt administrative machinery. Under whose patronage, then, is this corrupt machinery in Chimur taluka operating? Who is the mastermind behind this corrupt system? This question is now squarely in the crosshairs of the people of Chimur taluka.
The citizens of Chimur taluka are left wondering: If the local officials refuse to shut down these illicit operations, whose puppets have they become? What is the source of their fear? And whose radar are they currently under?
Who is pocketing the proceeds generated by the failure to curb these illicit activities—and by allowing them to flourish on such a massive scale? Who is getting rich off this racket? This is the question weighing on the minds of the people of Chimur taluka.
Therefore, shouldn’t the Government of Maharashtra initiate an inquiry into the assets of the revenue officials in Chimur taluka—as well as those of the Station House Officer (Thanedar), Dinesh Labde?
Once the wheels of justice begin to turn in earnest, it cannot be claimed that the concerned officials are unaware of the consequences; they know full well that even those who currently feel “safe” within the protective embrace of corruption will ultimately face their downfall.
It is the prevailing public sentiment that the District Collector of Chandrapur and the Superintendent of Police for the district must personally intervene to address the illicit activities in Chimur taluka, thereby exposing the stark reality of the situation to the public—and to those local officials who have chosen to remain silent bystanders. The concerned officials in Chimur Taluka are showering “favor upon favor” on those involved in illicit trades, allowing them to continue their illegal activities. Who, then, will teach these officials a lesson? However, one thing is certain: the credibility of these officials in the eyes of the public has plummeted!
Citizens of Chimur city and the entire Taluka must remain vigilant!…..
Prostitution is a scourge that ruins the lives of countless girls, young women, adult women, and even young men and adult males. Furthermore, it shatters numerous families, leaving them destitute and exposed.
Moreover, it serves to tarnish the reputation of Chimur Taluka and Chimur city—both in the present and for the future. Consequently, the citizens of Chimur city and Taluka cannot afford to remain complacent.
On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at approximately 9:30 PM, the Chimur police detained three young women from the Manik Nagar area within Chimur city limits. However, they released them without conducting any further investigation. This implies that the masterminds behind this prostitution racket were granted protection and allowed to go scot-free—regardless of what the underlying reasons may have been.
Citizens residing in Manik Nagar had provided MLA Kirtikumar Bhangadia with comprehensive details regarding this prostitution racket. Yet, even he has chosen to remain silent on the matter.
The Chimur police neither sealed the premises where the illicit activity was taking place nor detained the ringleader of the prostitution racket. This leads to only one conclusion: either the masterminds behind this prostitution racket are affiliated with the BJP, or a massive financial transaction took place to suppress this case. Such suspicions are now circulating among the citizens of Chimur Taluka.
Can one no longer place their trust in MLA Kirtikumar Bhangadia?…..
During MLA Kirtikumar Bhangadia’s tenure, all manner of illicit trades have begun to flourish on a massive scale throughout Chimur Taluka. Indeed, the prostitution racket, in particular, has reared its ugly head with alarming intensity.
Across Chimur city and the entire Chimur Taluka, illegal betting… Illegal trades are currently booming; specifically, the illicit sale of country liquor—spanning from Chimur city to the remote villages of the taluka—is proceeding at a scale that would put any law-abiding citizen to shame. Furthermore, sand and gravel have been—and continue to be—illegally excavated on a massive scale throughout the Chimur taluka.
BJP office-bearers and individuals allied with the party are implicated in these illicit activities. Consequently, one is compelled to conclude that MLA Kirtikumar Bhangadia is failing to take the lead in putting an end to these illegal trades.
Moreover, suspicions are mounting that it is he himself who is exerting pressure on local officials to ensure that these illegal trades in the Chimur taluka are not shut down. Furthermore, doubts are arising as to whether he is providing false information to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, senior officials at the Mantralaya, the Chandrapur District Superintendent of Police, and the Chandrapur District Collector—falsely claiming that no illegal trades are operational within the Chimur taluka.
Citizens Should Not Feel Indebted…
Citizens should assume that whenever MLA Kirtikumar Bhangadia contributes substantial funds—whether directly or indirectly—towards various programs, he is, in reality, merely laying the groundwork for his next election campaign well in advance.
Furthermore, when he provides necessary financial support for certain events or sports activities, it is difficult to believe that these funds are being drawn solely from his own legitimate earnings.
However, he has never once raised his voice within the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly regarding the interests and future of students and the unemployed. Moreover, during legislative sessions, he has failed to vigorously champion the numerous critical issues and significant grievances faced by farmers.
Speaking to the public outside the Assembly—or bringing ministers to the Chimur constituency merely to parade them before the people—constitutes one distinct aspect of duty; yet, speaking within the Legislative Assembly while a session is in progress constitutes an entirely different, and arguably more crucial, aspect of that duty!
It is of paramount importance to speak within the Legislative Assembly during sessions regarding issues concerning students, the unemployed, farmers, and other vital matters. Speaking within the Assembly ensures that one’s words are officially recorded for posterity.
The voters elected Mr. Kirtikumar Bhangadia as their MLA specifically to resolve the various problems faced by the citizenry, and to foster overall development—both for the people and the region—within the Chimur Assembly constituency.
He was not elected to facilitate the rampant operation of illegal rackets within Chimur Taluka; nor to allow the plundering of the Taluka’s mineral wealth through illicit activities; nor to ruin the lives of the people through such unlawful enterprises.
Consequently, there appears to be absolutely no reason for the men and women, the unemployed, the students, the youth, and the farmers of Chimur Taluka to feel burdened by—or indebted to—MLA Kirtikumar Bhangadia.
