Mumbai :- A shocking incident has taken place in which Bhanteji, who was peacefully protesting for a separate department of Pali language at Mumbai University, was beaten up by senior security guards of the university. Some Bhanteji were injured in this attack and were immediately shifted to the hospital for treatment.
Today, the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi met the injured Bhanteji and consoled him against this incident. On this occasion, Vanchit Bahujan Mahila Aghadi Mumbai President Snehal Sohni, Mumbai Youth President Sagar Gavai, Women General Secretary Supriya Pawar, Women Member Sangeeta Abdulle, Youth General Secretary Mayur Athawale and other office bearers and activists were present in large numbers.
The office bearers of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi strongly condemned the incident and said, “The attack on Bhanteji is an attack on democracy. The demand for a separate department for the Pali language is justified, and we firmly stand with Bhanteji on this issue.”
The Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi has expressed its determination to fully cooperate with Bhanteji for further action.
