Due to the consumption of alcohol, scented tobacco, gutka and bidi-cigarettes, the health of crores of citizens of India has been put at risk, and lakhs of people have lost their lives.
Along with this, due to the consumption of alcohol, scented tobacco, gutka, bidi-cigarette, cannabis, lakhs of people have become seriously ill, are fighting serious diseases. In the coming times, due to the consumption of all these intoxicating substances, crores of citizens are going to become diseased, are going to become disabled.
Similarly, due to the consumption of intoxicating substances, there will be a huge loss of manpower and economic loss, meaning the country will suffer adversely.
Because of this, for the sake of national interest, social interest, and human interest, a permanent ban should be imposed on the sale of all intoxicating substances including alcohol. And while imposing a ban on the sale of intoxicating substances, a strict law should be made by the central and state governments.
Not only that, so that the implementation of said law is done strictly, the central government and the Maharashtra government should personally see to it, this is the public sentiment.
Alcohol….
Consumption of alcohol (alcohol) is extremely harmful to the body and it damages the liver. Along with this, alcohol consumption causes heart disease, similarly the memory of people who drink alcohol decreases and life-threatening diseases like cancer occur.
Due to this addiction, mental balance deteriorates and social and economic loss occurs.
Due to fat accumulating on the liver from drinking alcohol, serious diseases like fatty liver, hepatitis and cirrhosis occur, in which the functioning of the liver slows down.
Excessive drinking increases blood pressure (high blood pressure) and the heartbeat becomes irregular, due to which the risk of heart attack and stroke increases.
Along with this, the natural immunity of the body of alcoholic persons decreases, due to which they fall prey to other diseases quickly.
Due to alcohol, the ability of the brain to think and make decisions is adversely affected, memory decreases. Due to drinking alcohol for a long time, diseases like dementia occur and people who drink alcohol can lose their memory.
Alcohol, which gives pleasure for a short time, gradually pushes a person towards severe depression, social and economic loss occurs, family conflict increases, peace in the home is destroyed due to addiction. Due to falling prey to alcohol, the savings of the home are destroyed. Due to this, there is a strong possibility that people who drink alcohol turn towards crime.
Scented Tobacco….
Scented Tobacco is a tobacco product with flavor and fragrance added through processing (e.g. saffron, menthol, rose, or fruit essence).
Since it is responsible for life-threatening diseases like cancer, the Maharashtra government has legally banned the sale and storage of all types of scented, flavored and chewable tobacco.
Under the Food Safety and Standards Act (FSSAI), tobacco and nicotine-containing products are considered extremely harmful to human health.
Despite the ban, smuggling of scented tobacco from other states into Maharashtra (especially in the Chandrapur, Nagpur area) is still going on through illegal means.
Local police and the Food Safety Department (FDA) continuously conduct raids on such illegal factories and seize goods worth lakhs, although it seems that due to their own negligence, scented tobacco is available in every village along with cities, this is certain.
Because the reality is that scented tobacco kharas are being sold freely in rural areas along with cities.
Due to consumption of scented tobacco, the risk of oral cancer, respiratory diseases and heart disease increases greatly.
Gutka….
Eating gutka has extremely harmful effects on health. The nicotine and other chemicals found in it cause cancer, serious dental diseases, heart disease and addiction.
Gutka contains more than 70 cancer-causing chemicals (Carcinogens). Due to this, the risk of cancer of mainly the mouth, tongue, throat, esophagus and lungs is the highest. Due to chewing gutka, the skin of the mouth becomes hard and there is difficulty in opening the mouth.
Also, problems like white patches (Leukoplakia), weakening of gums and tooth decay arise.
Due to nicotine, blood vessels contract, due to which blood pressure increases (Blood Pressure) and the risk of getting a heart attack intensifies. Nicotine in gutka affects the brain, due to which the person becomes severely addicted to it.
If the addiction is not satisfied, said person becomes irritable, such persons develop headaches and mental stress is felt in them. Their digestive system is affected, consumption of gutka disrupts digestion. There is burning sensation in the stomach. Also, gutka causes ulcers and stomach diseases.
Bidi-Cigarette…..
Tobacco products (cigarettes and bidi) are extremely harmful to health and can cause cancer, respiratory diseases and heart disease.
Strict action should happen…..
Under addiction, a gamble-like game is being played with the health and future of citizens of India.
Since the game of addiction is one that permanently ends life, ruins the family, disrupts the financial condition of the family, disturbs the mental balance of the family, a permanent ban on intoxicating substances like alcohol, scented tobacco, gutka, bidi-cigarette, cannabis, is necessary.
Along with this, to save human wealth and to keep the country safe, to make a strict law, the central and state governments should take steps in time. The implementation of that law should be done strictly.
Munde Saheb should pay attention to Chandrapur district….
Scented tobacco is being sold within Chandrapur district. There is a possibility that those selling scented tobacco have political backing. Along with this, it cannot be denied that lazy officers may be blessing the smugglers selling scented tobacco.
Similarly, sale of adulterated substances, sale of bogus medicine stock may also be going on within Chandrapur district.
Food adulteration means mixing inferior, low quality or toxic ingredients into original food items to make profit. Eating adulterated substances can lead to serious dangers like stomach disorders, liver diseases and cancer.
Due to this, the public is of the opinion that Tukaram Munde Saheb should pay attention to Chandrapur district including Chimur taluka in time.
