The Maharashtra government is not ready to understand the various distressing problems of the farmers in Chandrapur district and Chimur Assembly Constituency and the pain and suffering under that problem.
This makes the loss of the farmers’ crops due to natural and other calamities and the deep pain and anguish caused to the farmers due to these losses very serious.
Ideally, what is the pain of the farmers under the anguish of heart? In order to convey their condolences to the Government of Maharashtra in this connection, the organizers have received indications that a grand march of farmers will be held in Chimur today on behalf of the National Congress Party.
Farmers’ march will start from Balaji Devasthan Chimur at 11 am and the march will proceed to the office of Sub Divisional Officer Chimur.
The farmers of Maharashtra state including Chandrapur district have to face many problems due to disaster. The Maharashtra government does not seem to take notice of their serious problems. Due to this, all the farmers are unhappy with the functioning of the Maharashtra government.
A grand farmers’ march has been organized today by the National Congress Party to convey the call of various problems of the farmers to the Government of Maharashtra.
Opposition Leader of Maharashtra State Legislative Assembly Mr. Vijaybhau Wadettiwar, MLA of Maharashtra State Legislative Council Abhijit Vanjari, former MLA and former President of Mining Development Corporation and Maharashtra State General Secretary of National Congress Party Dr. Avinashbhau Warjukar will lead the grand march of farmers.

A challenge to the farmers.
Chimur Taluka National Congress Party, Chimur Taluka Mahila Aghadi Congress Party and Chimur Taluka National Congress Party Kisan Morcha leadership have put forward 23 types of demands in relation to the interest of farmers.
