          After the Chief Election Commissioner of India, Rajiv Kumar, announced the assembly elections of five states today, the movement within various political parties has gained momentum and the model code of conduct has been implemented in the said five states from today.

   With the announcement of assembly elections in five states namely Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Mizoram, the movements of the leaders, office bearers and activists of the national level parties and the state level parties in the states have accelerated.

       — There are 230 assembly constituencies in the state of Madhya Pradesh and the voting process will be conducted in all the assembly constituencies on November 17 on a single day.

        — There are 200 assembly constituencies in Rajasthan and the voting process is going to be conducted in all the assembly constituencies on the same day on 23rd November.

    — There are 119 assembly constituencies in the state of Telangana and the voting process is going to be conducted in all the constituencies on the same day on November 30.

     — There are 90 assembly constituencies in the state of Chhattisgarh and since some parts of the state of Chhattisgarh are dominated by Naxals, the voting process will be conducted in two parts on November 7 and 17.

  — There are 40 assembly constituencies in the state of Mizoram and the voting process is going to be conducted in all the constituencies on November 7.

            After the voting process of all the states is completed in the month of November, the counting of votes of all the states will be done on December 3, 2023.
