We are celebrating the birth anniversary of the first Muslim teacher, educationist and social reformer Fatima Shaikh.

Fatima Sheikh was born on January 9, 1831 in Pune. Today is the birthday of the first Muslim teacher.

Who along with Krantisurya Jyotiba Phule and Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule lit the torch of education for girls 150 years ago.

Even after 150 years since then, education has not yet spread to the majority of the Bahujans.

This is the reason that even though we are taking care of education today, we people have not provided education to our children.

While the whole world has reached far in modern education, the Bahujan people in our country India are deprived of education.

But even at that time, the support given to Kranti Jyoti by her friend and companion Fatima Shaikh, who was burning with Savitrimai in the literacy flame lit by Mahatma Jyotiba Phule for girls, is worth writing in golden letters.

We all should remember the sacrifices made by this revolutionary teacher to bring the women of the country out of the darkness of illiteracy and come forward to highlight the invaluable work of Fatima Sheikh on her birth anniversary.
