Tiger Cub Dies of Heatstroke…

        A shocking incident has come to light in the Piparda Beat (Compartment Nos. 561/564), Palasgaon Sub-range, within the Palasgaon Forest Range, where a tiger cub died due to heatstroke. 

     According to the concerned forest officials in the area, the cub is estimated to have been approximately 2 to 3 months old. 

        Upon receiving the news of the cub’s death by heatstroke, Deputy Director Lt. Kushagra Pathak, Assistant Conservator of Forests Saitanmay Dubey, Range Forest Officer Sagar Barsagade, Field Assistant C.N. Rasekar, Forest Guard D.B. Kharde, Forest Guard V.N. Dudhe, and Forest Guard Vanita Mahurkar rushed to the scene. After conducting a spot panchnama (official site inspection report), the cub’s last rites were performed.
